Jibing slowly improving, need to work on foot pressure exiting the jibe to reduce rounding into the wind. Also need to start the sail flip a little earlier (I think).

 More jibing practice. Made a few port tack jibes and a couple of starboard tack jibes. Maybe making a little improvement.

Sailed from 1500 to 1615

Decided that if I was ever going to learn to jibe the iSonic, I needed to do it in the big chop in the sandy area. First half of the session was pretty frustrating but as the wind backed off a little, I started having some successful jibes. Success came easier when I remembered to move my front hand as close to the mast before I flipped the sail. Also needed to lean forward as I was flipping, not backwards, and to pull hard on the boom.

With no one sailing in the 'rental' area, I was surprised at the amount of chop in the water. The chop made it difficult to practice jibing. Guess this is where I need to sail until I get better and the tourists return.
Was well powered at the end of the second session, 1245 PM.

Medium to underpowered.
First day back sailing after a long period of no physical exercise. Made some jibes in the sense that I didn't fall in but none that I really 'sailed through'.
Tried the 'rental area' as it was empty of sailors. Was OK but realize that because of the shallow water and early afternoon sun, I had trouble actually seeing the water. Was a little concerned about hitting the bottom in a couple of places.
