2015 Sailworks Retro 7.5, 2017 iSonic 127, Drake Carbon Race 44 Wind: 10-12 knots
Today was putz around time. Wanted to see what the lower limit for wind speed and planing sailing might be. Seems that 12 - 13 knots is probably the limit for me, even on the big gear. Might have had a little more success with the Phantom 7.8 but I doubt it. Caught a small gust on the mangrove side and planed briefly. The good news is the Isonic 127 is plenty floaty so wasn't much of a struggle to get back to the launch area.
